Help Launch MarlowFM on Fm in 2010
OfCOM awarded us a 5 year FM licence in September. Now we need to locate an appropriate location in or around Marlow to build our full time studios, and of course, raise the funds to enable us to do this.
It's estimated that we will need to find around £55,000 to launch and run the station for the first year. Our aim is to be on the air in October of 2010 following the half term school holidays. This will give the local schools, Sir William Borlases's Grammar School and Geat Marlow School the time they need to also build their own studios. The airwaves will be handed over to Marlow's school students every afternoon, 3-6pm Mon-Fri.

...sounds like a terrific mission. How far have you got with fundraising? And, have you got any suitable locations around Marlow? How many sq. metres of floorspace would you require? I take it there would be a sound-studio on your premises ? How many people are there going to be as part of your project?
There might be a few places to check out in the meantime, for sound-studios..?
